A first look at Brač

Brač is an island in the Adriatic Sea, in the Split-Dalmatia county of Croatia, near the city of Split. It is the largest island in Dalmatia and has a population of 14,000. In landscape, Brač is similar to its well known neighbor Hvar, with its rolling hills, pine and fig trees, isolated bays and clear water. Brač has two larger towns, Bol and Supetar.
