A first look at Adelaide/City and North Adelaide

City and North Adelaide is the central business district of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. It's separated from the rest of Adelaide by the Adelaide Park Lands, a green belt forming a figure eight around the River Torrens, with the City to the south and North Adelaide on the other side. Adelaideans don't talk about the "CBD"; it's simply the City.
