Singapore Zoo is a rainforest wildlife park with more than 4,200 animals and an open-concept layout. Visitors can explore habitats themed around regions such as Australasia, Wild Africa and the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, and see free-ranging orangutans among the trees. The zoo also offers keeper talks, animal presentations and separately scheduled feeding experiences. Families can spend time in KidzWorld, where animal encounters sit alongside sensory play and a wet-play maze. A complimentary tram helps visitors cover the grounds.

Suggested interest ages
Suggested interests: ages 3–17
Editorial age guidance
Editorial planning suggestion: ages 3–17 are a practical core interest range for wildlife viewing, animal learning and KidzWorld play, rather than a provider admission limit. Younger children and babies can also visit with adults; nursing and diaper-changing facilities are listed. This is a broad family attraction, not one with an official minimum age. The official pages reviewed describe no venue-wide minimum or maximum age, while explicitly requiring children to be supervised at all times. Check individual activity details for any separate requirements.
Visitor planning notes
Official visitor guidance describes a complimentary unlimited tram; some trams have wheelchair slots. Strollers or wagons can be rented, subject to availability; wagons accommodate up to two children with a combined maximum weight of 35 kg. Nursing rooms and diaper-changing facilities are listed. The provider advises comfortable shoes, water, sun protection, insect repellent and rain gear for Singapore weather. Review the official visitor guide, map and current ticket page before travel for current availability, access details and prices.
