Gravity Bolivia’s Death Road is a one-day guided mountain-bike descent beginning at La Cumbre, about 4,700 m above sea level, after a drive from La Paz. The route covers about 64 km, first on paved mountain roads and then on the narrow dirt North Yungas road, descending through changing mountain and jungle scenery to Yolosa near Coroico. Gravity describes the ride as suitable for beginners through experts with average fitness or above. The day ends with a visit and lunch at La Senda Verde Animal Refuge.
