Duration

Generally returns to shore 3–4 hours after leaving the harbour; operator also says anchoring commonly lasts roughly 2–3 hours, depending on shark activity, sea and weather conditions, and number of divers.

Season

The operator describes Shark Bay as a typical September–March anchoring area and Dyer Island as typical April–September, but location varies with conditions. It reports January–March as a generally low shark season in some years and cautions that wildlife patterns have become less predictable. Confirm directly with operator.

Eligibility / experience

No SCUBA certification required. Operator recommends children aged 10 or older enter the cage only when accompanied by a parent; younger children may be considered on special request and with advanced swimming proficiency. Guardians sign additional liability waivers for guests under 18. Operator does not recommend cage diving or going to sea during pregnancy.
